A simple big bun

Hi friends,

     After my exciting hearts-in-blossom post, I came back down to earth with a simple big bun :-)  I received the beautiful hairclip as a gift, so beautiful.  Of course I have several tiny clips and bobby pins hidden in my bun to help keep my hair up and in place all day long.

Mohawk & rope braid bun~ my look for today

Hi friends,

     I hope you are having a great week.  Today I fixed my hair in a Mohawk French braid, and even though I was tempted to leave my ponytail loose I ended up making a rope braid bun.  Much easier to wear and I don't have to worry about my hair getting caught on anything :-)

Easter colors, and a simple low bun

Rainbow Bun

Hello everyone,

     I got these cute flower and butterfly clips at Claire's in Japan, so beautiful <3  They may be for little girls, but I love using them in this hairstyle.  I saved out two sections of hair to wrap around my head like a headband after making my big bun, then added tiny clips at random for accent and also to hold my hair in place.

Tropical Big Bun Hairstyle

Hi everyone,

     This morning I made two tiny side French braids and a smooth center mohawk, then put my hair into a ponytail which I wrapped up into a big bun.  Since the dress I was wearing has a tropical flare, I suppose this updo could be called my Tropical Big Bun Hairstyle :-)

A simple and easy bun~ my look for today

     This morning I coiled my hair into a simple bun held in place with random clips.  An easy way to start the day!  Of course my favorite part about my look for today was the fringe on the bottom of my new shirt :-)

Layered Cinnamon Bun~ my look for today

Hi friends,

Today I fixed my hair in a simple cinnamon bun.  But instead of gathering all my hair up into the bun at once, I made my bun out of three layers.  First I took a small section of hair from the top of my head and wrapped it around in a cinnamon bun.  Then I took the middle section of hair and wrapped it around my first bun.  Finally I wrapped the lowest section of hair around and my bun was finished.  I had added hair-clips as I went to make sure my hair stayed securely in place.  Thank you for coming to see my new post!
