Simple low bun~ my look for today

Hi friends,

I posted a funny beauty meme on my Facebook page today, and ended up taking my own advice.  In a hurry?  Still take time to add eyeliner and fix your hair, even if it's just a low bun or a braid.  I ended up being in a hurry this morning and fixed my hair in a low bun with hairclips and a couple of bobby pins.  A simple hairstyle can be a nice change.
Speaking of Facebook, at the time of posting this my page is 3 likes away from 1,000!  If you follow my blog and are on Facebook, please be sure to like my page and follow me there.  Thank you so much.  I hope you have a lovely weekend.

3-minute hairstyle~ perfect for a rainy day

Hello everyone,

Today I fixed my hair in a simple updo that takes less than three minutes to create.  First I made a tiny French braid on either side, then put my hair in a low ponytail and a bun.  Ta-da, I'm done and ready to start the day!  It was actually drizzling slightly when we took pictures, and you can see clouds over the mountain in the background.  A grey, rainy island day~ still beautiful as always.

Butterfly Bun

Happy Sunday everyone,

Thank you so much for all the views and kind comments on my last several posts, I'm so happy I can share pictures with you all here on my blog.  My bun today was not actually in the shape of a butterfly.  Instead I used my new butterfly hair clip to dress up my rather plain low bun.  I love butterflies, and this clip is so fun!  It looks as real in person as it does in the pictures.  I got it at Claire's in Breda when I was there for the Redhead Days.  Have a wonderful day, my friends!

Braided bun with wet hair~ my look for today

Hi everybody,

I'm back home again after a wonderful and amazing trip!  I got to see many places and sights that I never dreamed I would get to see with my own eyes.  I'll have to share random pictures with you over the next few weeks and months :-)  My hair was understandably in need of a wash after such a long journey home, so this morning I put coconut oil on it then washed it (with my C-W-C method).  It felt so good to have clean hair again!  I braided my hair in a simple English braid while it was still wet, then put it up in a low bun using hair clips that I got on my trip.  These particular ones came from a little shop in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Lace Braid Combo~ my look for today

Hi friends,

Today I went with simple yet pretty and made two small lace braids combined with a low cinnamon bun.  This kind of braid reminds me of lace edging or border...small yet defined.
Thanks so much for coming to see my pictures!  If all goes well, I hope to upload a new hair video soon.  Stay posted!
