Hair-weaving braid

Hi everybody,

I saw this tutorial video today on Facebook, and loved it so much I tried it out myself.  I had to adapt a little bit and braid over my shoulder.  Since the outer strands gradually get thinner as the braid goes on, I would tie off sections and restart my braid with a new set of four strands.  I love how this braid turned out, and will definitely want to do it again :-)

Spiral Rope Braid Updo~ my Thanksgiving Day hair

Hi friends, Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Yesterday I fixed my hair in a spiral rope lace braid, held in place with tiny hairclips.  I'm always relieved to be able to do this braid once again, it can be tricky to braid in a circle around your own head!  I admit to cheating a little with my clips, they help me create the circle when I can't turn my head or my arms any farther :-)

Waterfall Updo

Hi everybody,

October 1st seemed like a good day to post a "fall" hairstyle~ in my case, a waterfall braid updo :-)  I interlaced the braids together which gives them a woven look that I love.  For my bun, I put my hair into a low ponytail, then loosely wrapped it up into a bun adding clips at random. Woven French Braids

Hi friends,

Yesterday I made a center waterfall braid, but left hair out of both sides.  Then I added the hair from the left into another French braid on that side, and the hair from the right into a third French braid on that side.  All three braids look woven together, in a look that is actually easy to create!

Head-dress Hair-do

Hello friends, 

Today I tried using my little hairclips to help make this head-dress hairstyle with a roll-up bun.  I love this fishnet look :-)
