French-Twist Braid

Hello friends,

Today I wanted to make a French braid but with a different twist...literally.  As I braided my hair, I would pick up a small section of hair and twist it tightly between my fingers before adding it into my French braid.  I love the defined look that this hairstyle has.  And instead of leaving my braid long at full-length, I wrapped it up and clipped the end in place with a few tiny hairclips.  This kept my braid out of my way, plus helped it to look neat and in place all day long.
Thank you for following my posts!  I love sharing hair pictures with my friends around the world, here on  my blog and on Facebook.

Sunday Best~ my big twist-style bun for the day

Hello friends,

Yesterday I wore my favorite dress and fixed my hair in a style to match.  This ended up being several hair twists drawn up together into a big wavy bun.  I used two of my new hairclips on each side of my bun.  I really like them, they hold my hair great and are so colorful :-)
I made a new hairstyle video today!  So stay tuned and maybe by tomorrow I will have it uploaded on my YouTube channel.  Thank you for following my posts!  Merry Christmas to you from the endless-summer islands <3

Fun Twisted Updo

Twisted, because that is what I did to create this look~ took sections of hair and twisted them then clipped them in place :-)  Thank you for coming to see my new post.  Have a beautiful day!

When you don't feel like braiding...my look for today

Hi everybody,

I washed my hair this morning, so it was still a little wet when I fixed it.  Since I didn't really feel like braiding it, I made little twists and bobby pinned them at the back of my head.  Then I put my hair in a ponytail and made a big bun with my hairclip holding my hair in the middle.  Unlike what usually happens, the bobby pins were hurting by tonight so I went ahead and took my hair down!  But beauty is pain, haha :-)
Thank you so much for following my blog and Youtube channel!

Ponytail Twist

How often do you wear ponytails? They're so cute and there's nothing more trendy when you spice it up a little bit. The hair is very vital part with your everyday look. It can tell exactly how much you take care of it. And when you srtyle it, it can give a completly different look. So if you're looking for some great ways to spice up your hair, try this amazing 5min. tutorial from A Cup Of Jo.

Split your hair into two sections, straight down the back, but off center, about 3/4. You want one large section, and then one smaller section that's about an inch or two away from your ear. Than take the larger section and make a ponytail, securing tightly with a rubber band. Twist the smaller section AWAY from your face. Make the twist as tight as you can, so it doesn't become too loose later on. After that, wrap the twisted section over the top of the ponytail and around to the bottom. Pin the twisted wrap in place. After you've secured the twist with enough pins, let it untwist and blend in with the rest of your ponytail. Done and done! SO easy!
