Hearts-in-Blossom Braid

Hello friends,

I am so excited to share these pictures with you.  I love this beautiful blossom braid!  Several friends (and even my aunt) have sent me the same picture of a braided hairstyle that is very popular on Facebook, so I knew I had to try this look for myself.  My version is a pull-through braid, but with each section of ponytail holders I pulled on the edges to give my braid the blossom effect.  And since this braid looks like a row of hearts, "Hearts-in-Blossom" seemed like the perfect name :-)

Shabby-Chic Dutch Braids

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing week-end.  Today I fixed my hair in two Dutch braids that I pulled on to give the blossom effect.  It's funny how you can actually put effort into making a hairstyle appear messy~ shabby chic, perhaps?

Dutch Blossom Braids

Hello friends,

Today I fixed my hair in one of my favorite styles, three Dutch blossom braids.  I love this look!  In case you're wondering what a blossom braid is, I explain in this YouTube video.
Thank you for following my blog, and an extra-special thank you to everyone who helped me pass 1,000 page-likes on Facebook <3  I love sharing hair pictures with my friends from around the world.  Thank you for each comment, like, and share.

Dutch Braids with Rosette Accents

Hello everyone,

Today I braided my hair in two blossom-Dutch braids and added three small braid rosettes as accents.  I have seen variations of this look on the internet, and wanted to try it out myself.  My hair is still extra-soft from the hair mask treatment I used a few nights ago~ so easy to mix together and always has such fabulous results <3
