Double braids with a push-up accent~ my attempt to rise to the challenge

Hi everybody,

A few days ago a challenge was posted on the Braid Zone's Facebook page, to make a hairstyle using double braids and push-up braid accent.  Here are pictures of my own attempt to meet the challenge :-)  I made a zig-zag part, then braided my hair in two French braids. I left a small section of hair out of one side to use as my accent braid which was a regular 3-strand English braid.  I finished off my look with a loose side bun.

I'm excited to say that although technically it is fall here where I am visiting friends in the US, the weather has been almost as warm as summertime! Double 4-strand braids~ my look for today

I hope you are having a very Merry Christmas!  Today I made a zig-zag center part, then I braided two 4-strand braids and wrapped the ends up into a braided bun.  A fun middle-of-the-week hairstyle!

Small Double French Braids~ my look for today

Hello friends,

Today I made a zig-zag part and two small French braids with the top half of my hair, then I made a cinnamon bun in the center back.  I love hairstyles that use double French braids!

I hope you have a fun week-end!  Yesterday I fixed my hair in this fun, every-day hairstyle - 2 French braids divided by a zig-zag part.  This hair-do makes such nice braid waves, which is always a bonus!
