Flower Petal Bun

Hello everyone,

This morning I put my hair into a bun, one loop at a time.  As I would make a loop, I would pin it in place with bobby pins.  My goal was to have a bun that looked like it was made of flower petals.  Unusual for me, I did not use a single hair clip in this hairstyle.  I held my hair in place using only bobby pins and hair pins, and added a jewel clip for accent when I was all done.
Thank you for coming to see my new post!  I hope you have a lovely day <3

Mohawk Hairstyle

Hi everyone,

This hair-do has become one of my favorite go-to hairstyles.  I just start at the top by twisting a section of hair and clipping it in place and continue until all my hair is involved somehow in this center mohawk.  It's easy to do, doesn't take a lot of time, and I love the look.

Spanish-Flair Flower Bun

Hello everyone,

Today I used a new flower headband that I got from Claire's in Hawaii several months ago. I've been waiting for just the right time, and today seemed to be it!  I made a big flower bun with two rope braids.  My bun is held in place with a clip underneath and a lot of bobby pins.  After making my bun, I put my headband around it and hid the elastic part with tiny clips and a few bobby pins. I'm not sure why, but this hairstyle seemed to me to have a Spanish-flair. (These are some of the techniques that I demonstrate in my second Youtube video.)
Thank you so much for following my hair blog and also for watching my videos!  I'm looking forward to making a new one soon.

Four-strand Fringe Braid and Big Bun

Hi everybody,

I studied my braid book last night and this morning I tried a fringe form with two 4-strand lace braids.  I put my hair into a ponytail and looped my hair up into this big, slightly messy bun.  Then I wrapped the ends of my braids around the bun.  Everything is held in place with bobby pins and my famous hair clips.  Thank you so much for following my hairstyle blog!  All your page views help get me closer and closer to our next goal, 300,000 page views!
