Simple yet fancy~ my look for today

Hello friends,

Today I braided my hair in 2 rope braids, then wrapped both braids up into a bun clipping them in place with hair clips as I went.  I love how my hair stayed in place all day long, without coming down or looking disheveled at the end of the day.

Palm Sunday Braided Bun

Hello friends,

I wish you all a very beautiful Palm Sunday and a happy International Day of Happiness (apparently it's a genuine day :-)  I loved taking hair pictures in front of the banana trees this morning, a special tropical flare.  My hairstyle was 5 English braids gathered into a high ponytail which I then turned into a braided bun.  It's nice to have my hair up and off my neck on hot sunny days like today.

Classic High Bun~ my look for today

Hello friends,

Thank you so much for following and commenting on my different posts.  I'm so happy when I hear that other women and girls are inspired to grow their hair longer and healthier.
I washed my hair last night, and this morning it was slightly damp still so I piled my hair in a high big bun.  What a beautiful bright morning for taking hair pictures outside in the sunshine <3

Valentine's Day High Bun with flowers and butterflies

Hello friends, I hope you had a beautiful Valentine's Day and I wish you all a happy day <3

Today I fixed my hair in a high bun on the very top of my head.  Last night before washing my hair I used the eggs/olive oil/coconut oil hair mask again.  I thought that using this treatment about once a month sounds about right, and my hair still loves it as much as the first few times I've tried this.
To decorate my bun I put a headband that I got at Claire's around the back of my bun.  A new and different way to wear a headband :-)  The first set of pictures was taken this afternoon when the sun was shining.  I had taken more in the morning, but the sky was overcast then.  Thank you for coming to see my post, and remember to follow my Facebook page.  Thank you my friends :-)

Audrey Hepburn's High Bun from "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

Hello friends,

This morning I tried my hand at re-creating Audrey Hepburn's hairstyle in the classic film "Breakfast at Tiffany's."  I made a ponytail and high bun with most of my hair, but left out enough to make the swoop at the front which wrapped around the back and up to my bun.  I would definitely love to try this hairstyle again and again <3
