Short ponytail for wet hair

Hi everyone,

     I was so sleepy last night that I decided to put off washing my hair till this morning, which meant of course that I started the day off with wet hair.  But that's okay, because I was able to put my hair up into this short ponytail that lasted all day long and kept my hair protected.  My hair has a different texture to it when it is wet, which gives this short ponytail a great new look.  Thank you for coming to see my new pictures!  Make sure to follow my Facebook page, too :-)

Audrey Hepburn Short Ponytail

Hi everybody,

     I saw a picture online of Audrey Hepburn with her hair in a short ponytail.  She is always such a beauty, but this picture was especially pretty and fun.  Today I tried out a similar version with my own hair.  I made a side part, then put my hair into a low ponytail.  I braided the length of my ponytail loosely to keep tangles at bay, then folded my braid up and clipped it in this short ponytail hairstyle.

Short Ponytail for super long hair

Hi everybody,

Today I had a more 50's style look~ a short ponytail, full skirt and bright lipstick :)  I made a braided headband first, then put my hair into a ponytail.  I divided the hair in my ponytail into two sections and loosely lace braided each section.  When I wrapped my braided hair back up and around the base of my ponytail, it looked like this:

My look for today~ Fast & easy short ponytail for long hair

Hi friends,

This afternoon I put my hair up in a fast & easy short ponytail~ a fun mid-week hairstyle :-)  First I made the top English braid.  Then I gathered all my hair into a low ponytail.  I rolled my hair up once to make a ponytail the length I wanted, then wrapped the rest of my hair around the base of my ponytail holder like a bun.  Everything is held in place with a big hair clip.  Fun, fast, easy~ what's not to love?
